Best Flights commenced trading in February 2001 and by 2005 had established itself as the largest independent travel company in the Southern Hemisphere. In September 2005 the company was purchased by a public company, Transonic Travel, whose origins dated back to 1949 and employed over 1,000 personnel around the world. Since then the public company has changed hands two more times and Best Flights is now owned by the global private equity partners, CVC Asia Pacifc, who own several global household names in many industries and employ nearly 200,000 personnel around the world who are responsible for sales of nearly USD$19 billion.
Best Flights also owns and operates the trading names and web sites www.bestcoachtours.com.au, www.bestcruises.com.au and www.bestadventures.com.au which are all powered by unique search and booking engines. Best Flights are reputed to sell more overseas online flights than any other web based company in the Southern Hemisphere which is supported by one of the busiest travel call centres in the world who take over 400,000 phone calls a year.
The company has gained a reputation for being one of the most innovative, pro-active travel companies in the world and is a world leader in supplying discounted air fares to the global public.

Our state of the art service centre is based in modern premises in Leederville, Perth, one of the trendiest street café - cappuccino chic areas of the city. But don't worry, our 80 staff are chained to their chairs and are not allowed out in the day time, for fear of them never returning!
We are not aligned with any franchise association or with any airline. We are not dictated to and can offer the travelling public a bigger choice of airlines, discounted air fares and wholesalers.
